The absurdity of this thread merely points out how tiring all the black out and uniform talk is.

The first thread in this board actually about the game (at the time of this writing) is 38th on the page.

Full of black-out (and black uniform) crap, June is leaving threads (citing a single tweet with no sources), and players being put on academic suspension (by someone who registered, just to post this note, seemingly).

I don't frequent other team's boards, so I simply assume that other fan bases are as focused on the incredibly unimportant, the highly unrealistic and the completely trivial as we are.

But it's just sad. I find myself visiting here less and less, and yes, I'm perfectly clear on the fact that no one would care if I, and others, just left.

Folks, we're two years removed from a 20 year streak without a single winning season. This is our second straight year in a bowl. We were in a conference championship game, for goodness sake. This is an exciting time to be a Mustang fan, and yet visiting this board is one of the most oppressively depressing parts of my day.

I'm not really a "sunshiner." I'm realistic about where we are, where we're headed and where we've been. But I have never known a more aggressively negative group of people.

Actually I was not responding to you but I could have said the same about your post. The point is if you want to discuss something about the game, start a thread and do so. I know you can because you start one any time someone that ever got near UT is arrested. I would be very interested in what you have seen at the practices, or what your opinion is on Padron's production, or should Fields be seeing more playing time, but I do not recall you ever remarking about the team or the opposition. Start a thread a get a discussion going about the upcoming game and I will join in.
