The center play has been shaky all year and was just dreadful today.

McJunkin has been a consistent failure, no way will he be the starter next year.

Yes sorry Junk you're OUT! I have never in my life seen that many bad snaps in a football game. Take Kyle with you...

Indeed - Kyle has been struggling to catch the snaps - certainly doesn't help his reads to start the play

Fontana is supposed to be the center.

Lucky for us that Kyle is as tall has he is. BLM couldn't have gotten to several of those sky balls...
As much as it affects Kyle's ability to make the reads, it really threw off the timing of several runs to Line as well.

I remember in the Texas High School All Star game where he personally caused about 4-5 fumbles. I thought-well they'll fix that.

Too many erratic snaps that really do throw off the timing on runs and affect the QB's ability to quickly make reads.

No, Tennison was supposed to be center until we lost JL. See how big of a loss that was now?
Unfortunately, at 20 you just don't have that sense of urgency. Maybe we'll get it next year when we have more seniors graduating.

Agreed. The snaps are consistently horrible.

I was thinking all day that KP was losing at least a second or two having to jump for the ball then begin his reads. Just enough time for the DBs to close gaps. The center has to get the ball to the QB cleanly or the play just doesn't work.

I honestly don't recall a single GOOD snap all day.

will be replaced, he really struggles with consistency between the short and regular shotgun snaps which y and large limits the effectiveness of the pistol and traditional attack. I had high hopes for Favreau to take that position over eventually because of his quickness, and strength and point of attack, but he is on defense. If Fontana can come back to full strength and JL is back at left guard, BT has a slight edge at center IMO.
Adrian has been recruiting tackles and is converting them to all positions on the line. He has two players in particular that are making leaps and bounds and will be ready next year; can't let the cat out of the bag. I am just happy there will finally be competition on the line.

There was one perfect snap and I recall it because Padron was so used to jumping that as soon as the ball began backwards, Padron started to jump and had to stop the jump to get into position to catch the ball. Actually made me chuckle in a sadistic sort of way.
