Craig James vs. ED

Really finding it hard to like Craig James He has always claimed he went to SMU because his girlfriend and future wife went to SMU and was totally oblivious about the illegal things going on at SMU. An excuse that with time is more and more pathetic. Then he gets a job on national TV and most of the time is dissing on SMU. Then Pony Excess comes out and I see his face everywhere with regards to SMU and him talking with such pride about his school. Makes me sick. He will say anything for self promotion and for national TV exposure.

In contrast, I love ED now more than ever. He will tell you, yeah, i took money at SMU but that is just the way it was back then. I love my school and always have, but they always treated me like a bad guy. Now I love that they welcomed me back, are committed to football and will support the hell out of the team.

When I see ED on the sideline of the Bowl Game, I dont think he is there for any other reason than he is stoked to see his school back in a bowl game......Craig James, just using it to promote himself.

James wasn't shown on the big video screen in the stadium during the game, but Dickerson was - had to be paying attention, 'cause it happened quickly one time in the second half, but there he was, big as day (not acknowledged by announcer, and should have). James probably didn't get a similar shot because he's on a different network than ESPN...glad to know that they were both there, though.

Well, shows to go ya - must have been watching the game at that point, or looked up at the screen just as they were showing Dickerson.

I hope all alums are welcomed and compelled to be around SMU, but...
Several quotes in past I remember Craig James saying while on national tv (ESPN):
"The program (SMU) is a joke."
"We got what we deserved."
"They're embarrassing".
Bad form IMHO....
