the jerseys looked good. hard to tell if black or a very dark blue. Hope to see them again sometime.

I'd much rather see jerseys that are either red or blue or some combination thereof. Black is NOT one of SMU's official school colors.

Jerseys looked nice... Would of been a lot better if we would of won. If you pull out some alternate color jerseys you better win, or you look kinda stupid...

You don't look stupid if you lose, but you played your guts out, in my opinion. Unfortunately, we didn't even do that. Very lackluster effort.

It was nice to wear the black jerseys in honor of our armed forces. Congrats for a great idea!

But looking at those silly stripes on the sleeves - well - they've got to GO!!! Busy & stupid looking & the black jerseys made them look that much more busy & stupid!

Let's just go back to the plain jerseys & numbers! Enough of these overkill-trendy stripes that look bad!

My younger brother who is still in high school said "oh wow those look really cool." So if you're trying to go for a coolness factor for the young crowd/potential players, I think they work.

If you buy into the tripe that the black jerseys were worn to honor the armed forces, the we should also change the name from SMU Mustangs to SMU Lemmings.

The unis looked like [deleted] and we played like [deleted].

I have to admit the black did not look nearly as bad as I feared. as I thought we would be wearing black pants as well, but black is a losing color. I definitely did not see extra motivation from the team for wearing black. The team was asleep the first half. Never again wear black. Black at SMU = losing.

Sounds like our defense should wear black and all we need to do before next year is find the magic color that makes the offense play well.

Okay, we wore black, we lost, hopefully that fad is out of our system. Orsini can say he sold a little more swag and we call it a season.

Was better than the black jersey-pants-helmet that was implied. Red stripes look cheap but overall not bad.

It is still insulting to say it is to honor the armed forces when it is clear it is to sell merchandise.
