In Rose Parade with Boone and Madeleine on Saving America's Mustangs...Liberty and Justice leading the float. Spot #83 in the parade. OK, I passed on the info, que Statler(nice khaki pants), and the other horse nut jobs!

I hear Pasadena has some nice grazing areas...I also heard UCLA and USC and all other state schools locating around the area love horses with no balls...

Since we are being so thoughtful of oppenents we should give them our horses...

USC is a PRIVATE University and we have a real horse already...

I heard a few days ago that June was going to be in the Rose parade. What do you guys think about this?

I somehow missed the whole Liberty and Justice thing while watching the parade, but in the crowd I did see someone throw ears and yell--Go Ponies! Did they actually show this group?

Both TV telecasts (NBC & ABC) signed off well before the parade ended - was going back and forth, since they were located at slightly different points on the route. Switched over at one point and saw a float with a bunch of mustangs, and they were talking about the mustang population being preserved and all that late in the parade, but I must have missed any shots of vehicles preceding the float or mention of who was sponsoring it.

JJ certainly didn't appear to wear anything SMU-related during the Fort Worth Stock Show parade earlier this year, and he's the Chairman of the Advisory Board, which is certainly why he would have been in Pasadena for the parade...

No kidding, and quit "interviewing" for jobs when he says he is committed to SMU

since a lot of our quality recruits in our 2011 recruiting class are from California, don't you guys think he might just also do some more recruiting for us while he is out there?

Relax on the interview thing. First of all, he talked with Maryland's search committee; he didn't interview with the school. Plus, if someone called you and said "my client is interested in hiring you for about twice your salary," wouldn't you listen? Of course. We all would. Coaches always are looking for the next hot coach. After taking SMU to back-to-back bowl games, it's safe to say Maryland isn't the only school to notice what JJ is doing in Dallas.
