only teams in Texas to win bowl games, maybe they're on to something with the all black unis (our halfassed ones don't count - gotta go all black)

Too bad the techies are apparently going to buy out of our scheduled game next year...

I think we may need it next year. We have Baylor and SMU OOC and I believe will still need 3 more OOC games.

with the seniors you're losing, the experience they're getting back and the game being in Lubbock, it would be a tall challenge for TCU to win

There was an awful lot of purple showing in those froggie unis, too. Not something I'd ever want to have to do to win a football game, mind you - I'd rather keep the red and blue separate, thank you.

I believe the Tech game is in FW next year. At least based on our official schedule. The game in Lubbock was supposed to be last year but has been deferred to an unspecified year in the future.

I heard the admin (Tech) wants to keep the game. They were sick and tired of Leach's panzy scheduling. Sounds like alot of their alums, judging by Raider Power, want some compelling OOC games. I dont blame them.

However, Tuby wasnt renowned for tough OOC scheduling so we'll see who wins.

Most Tech fans want to play the TCU game next season. Tech must drop 1 OOC game due to the B12's new scheduling so the pros and cons of each game (and any TV opportunities) are being considered by Tech's Athletic Department. The biggest problem specific to the TCU game is that the Frog's stadium will be under construction so few seats will be available for Tech fans. I live in Dallas so I expect tickets to be available when Tech plays in DFW...maybe less available than they were for the TicketCity Bowl, but available nonetheless.

But of course Tech wants to play the Frogs. Last season's Tech excuse was some

contrived television conflict. Their 2011 season cop-out appears to be TCU's stadium

construction. The fact is, Tech still remembers their last encounter with the Frogs

and has no stomach for a repeat performance.

You're correct that Tech contrived to get on national television vs. UT. And I recall Tech's 70-35 beatdown of TCU very clearly. You Frogs are so cute when you act all uppity.

Leave it to the stupid frogs and the stupid raiders to get in a little "not very good university" football squabble on an SMU fan board.
