10. Armed Forces Bowl - yes, I hated to lose on national TV but it was great to see a sellout crowd.
And, it's nice to be playing when there is no out-of-town scoreboard and viewers aren't going to
switch over to another game.
9. Sterling Moore's 32-yard interception return against TCU. He ran it back to the one-yard line,
setting up a 17-14 lead before 35,481 fans and a national Friday-night ESPN audience.
8. Darryl Field's 92-yard kickoff return. Texas Tech had just taken a 35-14 lead before a Sunday
TV audience but his return allowed us to eventually close to 35-27; also, some very worried looks
on the faces of Tech fans on the final drive.
7. Kyle Padron's 371 yards against Rice. He threw for three touchdowns in the 42-31 win over the
Owls.
6. Defence stymies UAB. SMU held the Blazers to just 11 first downs and 261 total yards in the
28-7 win. Two weeks later, UAB lost 32-29 in OT to Tennessee in Knoxville.
5. Zach Line unleashed. He rumbled for 202 yards against Marshall in a 31-17 win
4. Ja'Gared Davis' fumble return. His 33-yard run gave the Mustangs a 24-17 lead late in the 3rd
quarter before 49,108 fans in East Carolina.
3. Alrdick Robinson sparkles in New Orleans. His 82-yard TD pass broke a 17-17 tie as SMU had 542
yards total offence to overcome a 17-3 deficit late in the 3rd quarter.
2. Richard Crawford's interception in overtime to allow us to win C-USA West.
1. Beating Tulsa. The Mustangs erupted for 487 yards total offence in their 21-18 win against a team which finished 10-3, including wins over Notre Dame and #25 Hawaii.

Fond memories, all. Okay, except for the final score of #10.

Thank you! Sometimes when you lose the last game, you forget the good times...

love the list. my only switch would be swapping #1 and #2. both were awesome, but what a way to cap off a CUSA West title than on the road, in OT, with a big time interception.

Tulsa win was clearly great as well, but we didn't know at the time they would go on to finish 10-3 with those quailty wins. for that reason alone, the top "moment" for me was definitely the crawford interception, but since this list is technically "top 10 highlights" of the year - you are probably right with your #1

I think the a win at ECU when we needed it to get into the championship game. HUGE WIN. Should be #1. But I can't argue with the top ten moments just the pecking order

11. We win more football games than the Dallas Cowboys and the bongwhorns. When was the last time that has happened?
