Other than not having a IPF, how do our current facilities stack up against Baylor, Texas State, A&M, Houston, Rice, etc?

Weight room, locker rooms, meeting rooms, practice fields, etc...

Sterling Moore posted this on his FB page a while back - overview of Missouri - pretty cool facility

I don't know about the others, but we are way ahead of Texas State.

And ahead of Rice and Houston....understand Houston is trying to raise $ for facilities. UH intermural athletic facilities are new (2004) and are great and the Natatorium is well thought of.

SMU has very good facilities from what I have seen but could definetly use an IPF, Circle of champions get to work.

Based upon recent events, one can assume that the problem lies with Turner.

I think the distincion is more BCS vs non BCS. Its about a 6M swing per year if you never even go to a bowl.

It only takes money.

And university support. Without Turner's backing for a practice facility, money is useless.

I highly doubt that money is the issue. Given SMU's recent history, financial support has been far easier to attain than Turner's support.
