I agree with the scheduling issue that is presented (cupcake scheduling to go for undefeated season).

I rather like the idea of pitting some undefeateds against each other mid season - but logistically - could never happen.

Interesting concept. At least someone is thinking outside the box on the issue. Had not even considered a "mid-season playoff".

But for any of this to really happen it will probably take schools abandoning the NCAA and forming a new legislative body.

Cuban is taking the best approach one can to the issue...opening it up for discussion. If he's successful in changing things-and who knows, he might be-it will probably be much different than the way he outlined. But he got the ball rolling, and left off with the most powerful words he could..."how can we make this better."

Cuban is an expert as listening to the input of others and improving upon something...look at the shot clocks in every NBA arena now. Started as a fan's email to Cuban a few years ago.
