Indeed it is. Why? I have no idea why.. perhaps they were bringing the trophy to the people and that's just where the people are?

That season, Auburn was "undefeated, untied, unranked (except by AP because on probation), and unacredited." They went ten and zero, but no bowl game (again because of the probation) and were generally conceded to be the best college team in the country.
