probably not, but since it was him- and the coach was fired, all for a glorified time out, it was a pretty sizeable media firestorm in 2010.

I watched the game and heard the interview. I am too old and stupid to do linky things anyway. It was a few years ago at Air Force. I believe TCU was one or two points behind and in FG range late in the game. QB (I believe it was a young Dalton but the years get bunched up at my age), threw to the end zone and it was intercepted. Post game Paterson belittled the OC for making the call. Patterson was probably correct in his assessment but it was a very demeaning statement.
