first thing I thought about when Jerry Gray was hired-but good for him since he will probably get a free ride as a staff members son.

I'd heard the staff thought he had a lot of potential, was just developing late physically and would eventually turn into a real player.

So he redshirted his freshman year, right? And played special teams this year (I think)..technically he was a walk-on so does he still have to sit out a year?

did he play this year? did not see him listed in the participation charts.

if not, I guess he's still on the 5 years to play four, and one of them would count as a redshirt?

2012 can play
2013 can play

Yes he would have to sit out even if he was a walkon
