Maybe Southern Methodist University football coach June Jones can pair Monterey receiver Arrius Holleman with a roommate who has a reliable alarm clock.

So confident is the 6-foot-3, 195-pound senior receiver in taking his abilities to the next level that his biggest concern as a freshman is making sure he wakes up on time.

“That’ll be my toughest task, just waking up on my own and being responsible for what I’m responsible for,” Holleman said after signing his national letter of intent Wednesday with the Mustangs.

Is he in for a shock or what! Lubbock Monterey must be some kind of football and academic powerhouse.
