Kind of ironic that they file no charges because people do not have a record. How will anyone get a record if they never file charges?

I'm having trouble with your frustration since we were only reacting to what was reported and we based opinions off what was reported.

think we're all aware that these stories are subject to change, but this kid didn't do himself any favors with his history of entitlement, militant parents and a war with a college coaching staff that became very public. Whose fault was that?

Fair or unfair, we're in a world where perception drives the bus.

And the doubt will continue to follow Mustain whether he likes it or not.

BTW, when does your thank you card go out to the NCAA for the suspension in recruiting allowing USC to sign half of Southern California? That's very shaky but I guess there's a precedent with the Cam Newton thing.

Mustain wasn't perfect and his mother didn't help his credibility at U of A either. But Mustain endured some pretty unpleasant attacks form fans. Not fans in the stands but fans that harassed him. A coupled that used email to harass him were eventually exposed by the local paper. The emails they sent were not at all appropriate. And it turned out that they just happen to be good buddies with then Head Coach Houston Nutt. It wasn't pretty at all. So Mustain burned some bridges to be sure but he was also exposed to abuse no college kid should have to endure.

BTW lisdexamfetamine dimesylate, Lisdexamphetamine (L-lysine-D-amphetamine; sold as Vyvanse) is a psychostimulant prodrug of the phenethylamine and amphetamine chemical classes.

Sounds like speed to me!

Actually HB the facts support the conclusion that he was dealing drugs. Now he either thought it was amphetamine he was dealing or he is a liar and was ripping off his buyer by misrepresenting the drugs as amphetamines. In either case it is sad that a promising athlete has ended up as a drug peddler. The declination by the DA tells me that he had a good lawyer who talked the DA into referring it to the misdemeanor prosecutor.

Regardless he was peddling an over the counter drug as adderall on Craigs list. His punishment should be sterilization and leave it at that. As long as he does not breed all will be ok.

If he had been the starter he would have never been arrested in the first place.... but if he were the starter he wouldn't have had to do anything that even smelled like he was selling prescription drugs.

This being said, I still can't believe he was never the starter. What a waste (of talent).

With all due respect I'd put my trust in the LAPD before I would the PC but sometimes incompetent court system OR prosecutors in LA County. I scarcely agree with all Leo Bugliosi's views as expressed in his books but believe that the acquital of Simpson was an outrage.

In this case it seems rather obvious the suspect was trying to sell drugs. Maybe he learned something. If not it will be harder to take up for him next time.

HB - dont let your USC rose colored glasses cloud your vision - this does make him a good guy. He is clearly in the gutter at minimum.
