Surprised that Boise and Penn State were so high and that Texas was so low.

Given all the Texas thug comments and my own predisposition, I would have thought they were one of the worst. Not surprised TCU was best on the list but to have zero?

How did Texas end up with only 2? They seem to be in the news a lot more than that.

Just think of all the stuff that we don't even hear about, I'm sure a lot of their crap

gets swept under the rug before anyone even knows.

TCU learned the hard way but it has paid off with a bettr student athlete being recruited and guess what.....parents and true student athletes want to go to athletic programs and universities with a good, safe, enviroment! The horrible gang rape at the "christian" university in Fort Worth several years ago and the current lawsuit opened their eyes and caused them to do the right thing. The best football players with all the violence in football these days .....I am surprised some coaches aren't down at Huntsville recruiting the inmates along with the gang bangers. Don't give me the everyone deserves a second chance bull. That is what junior colleges are for! Our universities should be for the best both on and off the field. Go straight to the NFL if you can't live to that standard.

The overlooked issue in all this is that no one. TCU included, checks the juvenile records and most recruits either haven't or just recently became adults with respect to criminal justice.

I think the more likely explaination is that their success on the field and publicity has enabled them to recruit the top atheletes without having to resort to academic or behavioral "damaged goods". They took a bunch of thugs. We are loading up on guys with classroom problems.

We have no choice - just like they didnt. When we get better then we will have a choice. Its that simple.
