I really do not like the stripes on our jerseys, but oh my goodness I am glad we do not have those butt ugly uniforms. I will never say anything about our uniforms again because it could madden the uniform gods and bring them in to make a change like this at our school.

Did you notice almost all the comments were about no longer having the frog on the helmet. Not even the TCU people can say anything positive about that look.

Great team, ugly unis.

All I can say is, "Hail to the Red and the Blue". I am grateful that purple does not appear anywhere in our color scheme.

Wow, even the hip kids and recruits might not like those, they are butt ugly.

I disliked their previous "special" uniforms on principal, but I could appreciate what they meant for tcu's reputation as a legit "big time" program by being adopted by Nike...however with these I can confidently say they (and Nike) jumped the shark. Looks like something a prison league cobbled together.

I'm sure guys on this board will say those uniforms, not the decade of winning is bringing them better recruits.

But when you look at the uniforms in general across the country, they have all gone 'ugly' & away from tradition!

Sadly, we will probably wear a replica of their away Jersey next fall when we play them. you know, to honor our opponent TCU.

The helmets are not bad, but the rest of the uniforms are pretty bad. I guess they are trying to go the Oregon route, but this is not a good look at all.

I'm glad our uniform guru subscribes to the concept of "classy", as opposed to cheesy. Classy uniforms are, well, classy. We had one (major) lapse in judgment when an SMU Mustangs football team appeared in black (of all colors) jerseys.
