That and related rumors have been around for a while but I've seen no hard proof anywhere. It would be nice.

Hope so....Of course the national exposure would be important, and I'm also hoping for a national night game to avoid the afternoon 100 degree heat for our guys on the sunny side.

My main concern is not being a punching bag for the Aggies in the spotlight.
I can easily envision us giving them a great game, but can also see it going the other way as well.
The Aggies are gonna be a solid team this upcoming year and that environment is like nothing any of our guys have played in. Tech doesn't come close in my opinion. And, although the game ended up being close, KP was so rattled for almost the entire first half. Hopefully he will fall back on that and go in knowing exactly what it will be like and our guys don't come out shaky.
If we beat the Aggies... I don't even know what I'd do.

I'm no longer afraid we'll truly be blown out by anyone.

There was hardly anybody left when that game finally resumed. My good friend, myself and our kids stayed along with a couple of hundred others, it was not pretty.

I'm going on record that I expect a better outcome than our last trip to Kyle Field, which I believe we lost to the tune of 66-8. Talk about getting beaten like a red-headed step child.

Aaron Dickens, managing editor of Red Raider Sports (Tech Rivals Site) confirms SMU will play on Sunday, September 4th, against TAMU and it will be broadcast on FSN. It is the 4th time in 5 years that SMU has not started the season on a Saturday- interesting stat.
