I will be there. I always have a good time in College Station. Wish the game was on Sat Night but oh well.
Really need to have a decent showing in this game. Not that we have to win but it would be detrimental to be blown out. Hope the guys learned from last years game at Tech. THe D will need to play well and Kyle & the offense will have to put up a bunch of points.

We will go to CS for the game and being on National Fox Sports TV on a Sunday night is a great chance to show the US the progress we have made, but TAMU at their place is going to be a real huge challenge for SMU at this stage of the program....but lets be there! And I understand hotel choices are at a premium for any TAMU games at home..any .recommendations for lodging in CS for that night?

for home football games most hotels in cs require a two night stay (which is true at tt also). unless you want to do this you might consider staying at another location or going back after the game.
my personal opinion is that am will not take us seriously. this is a great opportunity for us to sneak up on them.
the am offense is very good. the d secondary is suspect. key is to keep the crowd out of it. they can be extremely loud.
wear white and they won't know who you are for.

VERY short sermon on Sunday...there are decent hotels around the area (within 20 miles) if you are interested that do not require a 2 day. As of this moment, Comfort Suites in Navasota is available (15 miles away).
A&M will most definitely take us seriously, but have had a nagging tendency to start slowly in the past few years...let's hope it continues, and that we hold on to the ball. The Aggies are much improved from the 2006 version that most SMU folks last saw, and are anticipating a big year, even some speculation as a dark horse for the Tiny 10 (former Big 12).

Aggy traditionally gets out of the gave slowly. Take advantage of that and shock the world.

talked with some friends in CS this afternoon in the hotel business...many do not yet realize that the game has been rescheduled, and a Sunday evening stay is not the normal 2-day gouge...jump fast.
Just informed our Minister of Music (an Aggie) that game-appropriate gear is acceptable for that Sunday morning.

That's sort of what I figured and thought I'd jump on it before they realized the schedule changed.

If it's on FSN won't the game be regional, not national?

If FSN is regional, being what I believe is the only game being played, I would imagine it will be shown in all regions.
