Very sad when anyone his age has to deal with serious health problems. He may be part of the competition on the football field, but I pray that he has a speedy and full recovery.

He's a hell of a prospect as a professional player, and I bet some team still will draft him.

Whether he plays football again or not is irrelevant. Get better and live a long, healthy life. Got my fingers crossed for you.

Its a shame because he was forecast to be a late 2nd round pick by the Drugstore List and a 3rd round pick by the Sporting News. However, my niece had this cancer and has fully recovered. Nevertheless she will have to see the Doc every 6 months for the next 5 years to make sure it doesn't return.

Hope all you guys and gals are doing well! Appreciate the kind words as Marcus is a good kid. Also, he was just drafted by the Patriots in the 4th round so at least he is in a good situation.

Why? Did you see a slightly over-weight, balding guy with a shaved head? Just kidding (sort of) but no I was not at the SMU practice. Glad to see Aldrick got drafted (for his sake and for ours!).
