just hope the team is as over confident as their fans; I doubt anyone takes an opening game lightly

"I'm guessing we have 5 TD's on the board by halftime. this one should be a cake walk"

I hope we play a Hawaii Bowl type game in Aggie Land.

Seems most of their assumptions are based around our lack of defense. Perhaps we will show them more than they realize on D. As improved as our offense has been, it is the D that has made the greatest leap in improvement. Our D did very well against TTU and TCU last year.

Every time I read that board, I find myself very thankful that I attended a university that provides its students with an education.

I agree ponyte, my biggest concern is that our offense gives up points, via 3 and outs, and turnovers. Plus, I am extremely concerned about our kicker situation.

Our main goal this year needs to be take aways. We left our offense with too many 90 yard beginnings last year. Padron's individual stats were very good but it is hard to sustain a drive for 90 yards. Makes for good numbers and low scoring. Our defense, which I think will be improved needs to get the ball for our offense at mid field or better often and we may see some much improved offense.
