Postby RGV Pony » Sat Apr 30, 2011 2:11 pm

...about the same size (5'10, 199)...and Pilares tore his PCL in the Hawaii Bowl

EDITED to reflect draft position...congrats Al

Thought he'd go undrafted because of the knee. Several better slots were still on the board.

AR said he didn't feel like he ran his routes well at pro day. That could be a concern.

Another great SMU receiver to a Cowboys antagonist. Too bad he doesn't have anyone to throw him the ball.

Just showed Al's highlight reel on ESPN. McShay said he thinks the Skins got a steal by picking Al up this late.

I don't like the Redskins, but now wish they may have picked up a QB in the first rather than trading down. Looks like AR will have passes thrown to him by John Beck. Ugh

Awesome he got drafted, that's about all I have nice to say. The Skins are a disaster.

Kind of upsets me the skins took him just 2 picks after the cowboys took the wr out of ECU. They are both projected in the slot and to me Al is a much better player. Oh well, would've been nice to have him stay in dallas, but now he plays for my most hated NFL team

He better show them something in camp and fight for every pass thrown in his direction.

Congratulations to him.

And so they didn't see him have an off-day on route running, and picked him up. Funny how that works...
