RICHARD CRAWFORD: Secondary education

Postby PonyPride » Mon May 09, 2011 1:54 am

With the graduation of Sterling Moore, SMU senior Richard Crawford suddenly finds himself as the elder statesmen among the Mustangs' cornerbacks. After just one season in red and blue, Crawford spent spring practice observing some of his younger teammates while honing his own skills. Crawford visited with PonyFans.com to discuss the progress made by some of his teammates, as well as his own development, and how he plans to improve in 2011.

Enjoy!

Great story!
I remember hearing one of Rich's pre-game interviews with a coach (either Mason or Odum - I can't remember which) who talked about how analytical Crawford is, how he not only studies his own performance and techniques, but also that of opponents and teammates. It's one thing for us to talk about someone's performance, but for someone like him to make such positive comments about guys like Robinson, Acker and Parks means a lot more.
Thanks for the report, PP.
