The present SMU coaching staff is now just getting around to introducing itself to the Metroplex, East Texas and Houston this year. It has done less "hardwork" in Texas than any school in Texas.

I'm in Waco at a Starbucks... driving up to Dallas to have dinner with Mike Ford and his family in celebration of his graduation. Was supposed to be there for his graduation... but I'm slow. Sigh.

...

Hey, I may not have a degree (yet) but it's so cool to keep hearing from the Fords that the movie made this happen.

...

Oh and I actually went completely radio silent there for a while. Not even facebook... occasionally I had access to a land line... ~50 days off the grid.
