Did Gary Patterson attend SMU spring scrimmage?

Postby lwjr » Fri May 20, 2011 10:04 am

As most of you know Gary Patterson, stated after the SMU/tcu game last year, that SMU had been preparing for the game since spring practice. So, I was wondering for those who attended the final spring scrimmage, did our offense run any plays against a scout team made to look like tcu's defense and vise versa? Was Patterson or any of his staff there watching? Since SMU puts so much emphasis on the tcu game, I assumed we were already preparing for the September 30th match up.

Same thing Tuberville said, same thing A&M will say..."once in a lifetime game" is the only reason we a) didn't blow them out or b) lost

Watched him play Wednesday in the Pro-Am at the Colonial. Hit it into the sand on a par 3, then bladed the ball out of the trap and flew the green.

What an arrogant - or maybe just ignorant - moron. Since spring practice? June Jones wouldn't prep that long to take the field against NFL team, let alone Frog High. If he watched PF.com's practice interviews with Coach Jones, he would know the SMU coaches don't put in anything for a specific opponent until less than a week before the game - maybe one wrinkle here or there, but nothing major. SMU prepared for the overrated Froggies in less than a week, just as they do for every opponent ... and nearly beat them. Patterson made that comment to justify SMU proving tcu doesn't deserve to be ranked where it was.
"It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses."
...
"Hit it."

He should use this picture on his bio page, because this pic doesn't accentuate, what a sawed off, fat pig he really is.

Unfortunately, Gary was unable to attend. He was busily involved in finding a suitable place

to display his nine National Coach of the Year Awards and the 2011 Rose Bowl Trophy.

He's a very good secondary coach who mysteriously got promoted and surrounded him with a very good staff.

The guy can coach, but that doesn't remove the fact that he is an arrogant, sawed-off, no-neck, JERK of the first caliber. He has absolutely NO CLASS! Period!
