2 day College Football weekends. I'd dig it. I lost interest in the NFL decades ago. Screw the NFL-I won't miss it. No NFL in Los Angeles sure helped USC

May the Sunday parking battles between SMU and Highland Park Methodist rage!

This seemed interesting to me:

Banowsky said CBS Sports Network, the conference’s secondary television partner, is poised to announce the C-USA football games it selected to broadcast within the next week. Fox is then expected to select another batch of football games.

Wouldn't you want Fox picking games first since they have a bigger platform (FX, FSN)?

Bring on fantasy college fball. But no way the NFL doesn't play. Too much money at stake. Jerry would have to eat Papa Johns all the time :)

100% in agreement with Stallion...I'd much rather have a full weekend of college ball.

I wonder what college football ratings would look like on Sunday afternoons. They wouldn't match the ratings the NFL puts up, but I bet they'd be higher than many folks imagine.

The NFL strikes, the NBA strikes after next season, this would be a dream come true. Only college sports...

They picked first, then CBS picked, then Fox is going to get to pick again. Hence why it says Fox will select "another batch."

I'M PRAYING FOR A LOCKOUT.

Hell yes I want C-USA football playing on Sundays by themselves. Hell yes I want the DMN Sports section focused solely on us and fUCF, us and Rice, us and flippin Memphis. ESPECIALLY WHEN WE WIN.

This could possibly the perfect storm we are looking for to catapult us into the national media.

Call old me fashion, but Sunday is supposed to be a day of rest. I really don't think colleges should be playing on Sunday. There is this thing called church and especially for a school that has Methodist in its name, so I just don't care for it.

So you'll be boycotting our first game this year? I hope you were being sarcastic...if not, give me a freakin' break.

Dude, there's a reason the VISIONARIES at our school put the stadium right across the street from the Chapel....

With Fox partnership, we need to do that NASCAR/CUSA deal. Collegiate stock car racing. Heck there are speedways centrally located for a four race tournament. Talledega, Charlotte, Daytona and Texas. You could add in Bristol as well. The problem would of course be that Rice would win with all those math guys they have there.

Why not have a C-USA game played in the infield while a NASCAR event is taking place, this way the C-USA can capture a larger audience.
