Re: 2011 Navy PreviewIt's still nice to see that we rate as a challenge to them according to the author...
I think this is a winnable game for us this year, at home. Last year I went up to Annapolis for the game and we should have killed them, but we let them back in and paid the price. Mustangs Abu!
Re: 2011 Navy PreviewThe last two games were winnable, and we were winning, and we should have one. Hopefully the 3rd time is a charm because I'm bored with blowing games against Navy.
Re: 2011 Navy PreviewWin or lose this year, I'm tired of playing Navy.
Re: 2011 Navy PreviewLike ND, I prefer an annual game with the Midshipmen and like all the service academies. The games are hard fought and a win is meaningful. Much better than a 1AA, BTW, for strength of schedule and attendance at home.

Re: 2011 Navy Preview
They are not meaningful games. Navy is rarely ranked, making a loss to them no different than a loss to any other teams. If SMU beats Navy it is not considered impressive. It is a needlessly difficult game. Teams scheduled out of conference should be of the BCS variety or guaranteed victories. BCS opponents bring a level of prestige. Defeating them is meaningful.
