Ohio State. Hayes and Tressel.
If you want to say Dave Bliss and Bobby Collins at SMU, but Bliss had a few stops before he lived in infamy at Baylor. What got him on the list was the murder of one of his players by another one of his players.

One wonders why Mark Mangino (Kansas) missed the list.

Mike Price just enjoyed Sammy's in Pensacola more than really having a football scandal so one can see why he missed the list.

Gary Bennett (CU) did his fair share to earn a Hall of Shame nod.

How did Rick Neuheisel little gambling issue miss the list?

And I guess Mike DuBose being such a crummy coach (fired before the NCAA nearly gave Alabama the DP for his violations) saved him from the list. Sometimes, being fired is the best thing that can happen.

and both are still considered heroes on their respective campuses(file under 'winning coach')...JS has a spot on local radio here in College Station from July to February...he is still WELL connected to Aggie football, as is Slocum.

We could have gotten rid of Paterno decades ago except he didn't want to leave College Football to Jackie Sherrill or Barry Switzer. How did Sherrill not make that list-his teams had about 4 probations

I think it was the writer's approval of Sherrill's practice of 'making steers'...
