I was asked by June Jones to put together this video for an event wherein Ron Meyer was the keynote speaker.

Self review: a lackluster editing job. (My apologies.)

I put this together in one day while working on Pony Excess and I didn't want to take one of our "pros" (editors) off of their work as we were under the gun with ESPN.

That being said, ENJOY! Plus, look at that DEFENSE!!! We wanted to show more of it in Excess but, sadly, we had to cut all of our defense love for time.

Saw Lance pitchout to James in a crowded UT stadium that year, sure was quiet when Craig took it in for a touchdown.

Ron Meyer is a hell of a coach.

And wow, the Rice uniforms were almost dead ringers for the Cowboys home uniforms (weird sliver colored pants, white jerseys w/dark numerals and that silver helmet.

I watched Lance run the option at HP, where I was a couple of years behind him; he ran it good at HP, but ran it just a little better at SMU pitching to Dickerson and James.

Those blue unis are the best, except for the white ones.

Bring back the blues.

Fond memories...I was knee deep into it back in those days..had a boss start my performance review by saying.."there is more to life than SMU football.."..HA!! LONG, LONG time ago...let's start something new! GO MUSTANGS!!
