Guess it doesn't matter where we get our recruits because we either can't keep our best recruits eligible, we can't get them to campus in the first place.

Huh? I've never said a word about the issue of eligibility. My only argument has been that we get the best possible players here despite where they're from. Is anyone suggesting Moreland would play if he happened to be from Texas instead of California?

Well guys it is not the end of the world. Just downright disheartening. I wonder how many other Universities have been hurt by this new NCAA deal. By the way, just what is it?

As I said on another thread, very different than the situation last year. We'll get through this - the silver lining here is that it's not on the school this time.

I assume you're talking about the academic standing of a few recruits, but the situation might not be as dire as some believe. For the record, WR Jermaine Sams, OLB Davon Moreland and DE Christian Holloway did not qualify under NCAA standards, but they are close to qualifying, and have ample time to improve their test scores or academic standing, and then enroll in January, like greyshirts. If they don't enroll in a junior college, other schools can not recruit them.

OK, I am really confused about Sams especially after reading this article:
