God I would rather read one of Mitche's posts than that purple passion.

you don't think SMU fans would be "full of themselves" if we were enjoying the success TCU has had in recent years? back to back BCS games? Do you think we will ever accomplish that? Not even many of the big boys have that on their resume. It's actually an advantage Boise and TCU have had (winning a relatively weak conference to qualify). TCU should have a better shot of winning the Big East than they ever would have the Big XII.
I'm no TCU lover, but I give them credit for what they've accomplished...and I REALLY want our guys to kick their arses this year!

Congrats to them for their hard work and success (and thank you for showing it's possible). However, keep that infection on their board.
Interesting ... that post didn't strike me as arrogant. I thought the comparison between the pain induced by Mitch's posts and any pro-Frog talk was funny.
"It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses." ... "Hit it."

Their continued domination of a sad BCS football conference will be ugly. TCU would have been Baylor 2.0 in the Big 12 (10).
I'd rather not bash TCU at the moment either (though it is fun, I just don't want to take the time to develop new insults and we have done the old ones to death). If TCU took a Big XII invitation rather than a BE invitation they would still be light years ahead of Baylor. TCU built their program over a 10-12 year period and taught their players to compete and then win. Baylor has been the sweetheart of the Big XII correctional system for years.

We call it masochism. We willingly forfeited 25 years worth of being competitive. SMU's record comes with asterisks.
