It's July and it's a really boring time of year. But what the heck...

4,250 yards
62.5 completion%
36 TDs
17 INTs
12 Sacks

Will rush for 220 yards and 4 TDs

We all hope that's the case but 13 seems more reasonable right now.

I think there is no question that Padron will improve in 2011, but what I'm more curious about is if Padron does crack 4,000 yards what are the chances Line will rush for 1,000 yards again

Padron threw for 3828 last year and Line rushed for 1494, the only way Line doesn't hit 1000 is if he misses a few games.

We need to give Kyle a shorter field this year. A lot of his yardage last year was on our end of the field. I do not care if he throws for 2500 yards if the scores are increased drastically. Turnovers (getting them) will be key.

Seems to me that until we know how healthy Padron is this year, it's impossible to speculate about his numbers. We already know he has a bad ankle that could affect him this season, so that crystal ball we're peering into here seems a little foggy at the moment.

Let's see what Kyle can do first on Kyle Field. He HAS to score in the first half this year and perform well against some of the worst rated defenses in D-1. Last year, not so good. That darn sophomore slump hopefully is behind him.

4,142 yards
63.3 completion%
39 TDs
14 INTs
19 Sacks

Will rush for 185 yards and 5 TDs

(and yes, I am assuming 14 games, because we can speculate like that in July)

Simmed a season of NCAA Football 12:

247 cmp, 518 att, 3541 yds, 31 td, 9 int, 40 sack

Not sure how it came up with that kind of completion percentage.

SMU went 8-5, losing in the Beef O'Brady bowl to Cincy.
