http://www.baynews9.com/article/sports/ ... -July-13thWhere have all the quarterbacks gone?
To Conference-USA, everyone?
There’s Jeffrey Godfrey at UCF and Dominique Davis (Lakeland Kathleen) at East Carolina, Case Keenum at Houston, Damaris Johnson at Tulsa and Zac Line at SMU. All have been recognized on preseason QB lists from the Maxwell Award to College Football Performance Award. QB play in the league can measure up to any of the NCAA’s Division 1 conferences.

They got Tulsa's QB wrong too. Takes a .16 second Google search to find out who a starting QB is. If that weren't enough they didn't even spell Line's first name correctly.

They got the wrong Tulsa guy, but at least they spelled Damaris right.

Hey, he looks old enough to have laid bricks on Dallas Hall. He probably is internet challenged.

I don't know if it is the SMU pr dept or the coaches not wanting to share info or just supposed sports journalist not doing their job.....but SMU info, even in Texas Football magazine has been so inaccurate until this year. The 2010 issue of Texas Football (the bible for Texas football fans) didn't even list Zac Line as being on the two-deep chart at running back. They even put incomming freshmen on the depth chart who haven't even been on campus in the two-deep!

most of these stories are written from the Spring Prospectus sent to the media.
