DALE HELLESTRAE CAME TO THE SOUTHERN METHODIST UNIVERSITY FROM SAGUERO HIGH SCHOOL IN SCOTTSDALE ARIZONA AS ONE OF THE NATIONS MOST HIGHLY RECRUITED OFFENSIVE LINEMAN...DALE BECAME A 6'5'' 300 POUND ALL SWC OFFENSIVE TACKLE AT SMU AND WAS DRAFTED IN THE FOURTH ROUND BY THE BUFFALO BILLS...HELLESTRAE WOULD PLAY 16 NFL SEASONS WITH BUFF...ALO - THE COWBOYS AND THE BALTIMORE RAVENS BEFORE RETIRING FROM THE NFL...IN HIS NFL CAREER HELLESTRAE PLAYED IN OVER 200 NFL GAMES WINNING THREE SUPERBOWL RINGS WITH THE COWBOYS...NOW A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS MAN IN PHOENIX HELLESTRAE OWNS A BAKING COMPANY AND IS A NATIONAL SPORTS MEDIA PERSONALITY...THIS IS OUR HERITAGE...PONY UP!

actually he came from Marine Military School in Harlingen, Texas and I don't remember him being that highly recruited at all-I was calling coaches offices and helped write recruiting blurbs in the SIDs office at the time

Are you saying he didn't play at Saguaro HS in AZ? Your post doesn't leave room for the fact that he played there. He did. You either didn't know that or you left it out intentionally to try and make Rheinebold look bad which would be strange except that it's from you

no I said he was recruited out of Marine Military Academy and I don't remember him being a top national recruit-he was probably the most obscure recruit in the entire class.

Dale was the deep snapper for the Cowboys during their super bowl years of the 90's. Always loved Brad Sham mentioning that he went to SMU

As I recall, Dale was a "pioneer" in the NFL. Maybe there were others before him, but with the limited NFL roster spots available, he was one of the first deep snapper only guys to make a career of it and a long career at that. One of those guys you never notice because he is so efficient.
