TCU billboard

Postby Wuba » Mon Jul 18, 2011 10:43 am

TCU billboard along Central just south of the Palomar. I know it said TCU, had the words "Purple Reign" and was mostly purple - but I did not catch it all as it was pretty busy and I was driving.

Direct line of sight from it to Ford.

How can those slackers in our Marketing Department let this happen?

We don't technically have a sports marketing dept...

Or after we beat them have it redone with some of our players holding the Iron Skillet next to the words "Purple Reign?".

It is a direct attack on SMU. Are you going to stand there and take it? Did we give up when the Germans bombed Pearl harbor? ? WHO'S with me!!!!

I wasn't too angry until I just saw this in person. It is a slap in the face to SMU but the marketing department and SMU are the ones letting it happen. I never see advertising anywhere unless it's the week of a "big" game. I am unemployed and would like to take over the marketing department.

I am sure it is just a coincidence that the billboard showed up there...
