Didn't see much though there was a blurb about Chad Polk who the staff talked to for oa long time but never offered. UNT offered and he accepted. His bio also shows a Baylor offer. If that's accurate, it must have come in late. didn't see any of ournguys listed but I just saw bullet point summaries.

"Dallas Woodrow Wilson LB Chad Polk swarmed with the North defense, keeping the South All-Stars off the board in the first quarter. He contributed with two tackles for loss in the opening frame and finished the game with four tackles. Polk almost pulled in an interception"

Only one I really watched was Weeks and I thought he did very well. Seemed physical and moved real well for his size. We had a kid playing at WR so I mostly watched him and when he wasn't on the field shot the bull with my buddies. I saw enough of Weeks however to make me excited about him as a Mustang.

It is such a shame that this game has become what one would hardly call an all star game representing the state's best players. Very few of the top players play anymore and so many of the participants are high school coaches sons. It looks like the attendance has dwindled to the low thousands category. In it's day it was a showcase for the future college stars but I guess the Army Combine, Under Armor and early summer reporting dates along with the worry about injuries has diluted the talent. Still an honor though for those who are chosen out of the thousands eligible in the greatest high school state!
