It's Knee jerk Nick. Yeah, it's a shame that Marks kid isn't very good. He was a freaking JUCO player. That meant he was a free agent. There was no guarantee we were going to keep him.

Get the hell over it!

Were we actively recruiting this guy? Have we ever recruited a JC WR? Will he be a junior eligibility-wise? I don't think this is big deal.

College football rosters are littered with kids who signed with one school, wound up going to a JC and then wound up going somewhere else.

It happens!!

recruiting wise I'd say its a pretty HUGE loss especially to lose him to TCU. He had a pretty steller Freshman season. He was a long ball threat we could have used. He's considered one of the Top JUCOs in Texas.

From what I've seen it's not to hard to get your academics in order to go to TCU.

You dont want to lose a guy to your main rival...esp considering the effort we put into texas recruiting we must have forgotten about texas completely...Hope the islands were fun...

out of the 12 or so non-qualifiers that have gone to JUCO-have we got one back yet-drawing a blank-don't think so. Captain Kangaroo is correct though this happens all the time. I bet only about 25% or less of JUCO signees ever make it to the campus that originally signed the kid. Even if they can play, get academics in order then its still a jump ball

Damn right, I am. I just read a story on that former DL Joey Searcy who was at SGP. He signed with Minnesota, wound up going to Navarro, and I guess he just committed to Baylor or somebody like that.

I know it wasn't Minnesota.

Just shocking...

As a Gopher fan, I wasn't upset.

But if you're kneejerk Nick, OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG!
