"Quarterback Kyle Padron has mastered SMU coach June Jones' prolific offensive attack."
This made me laugh.

I like the respect they gave our D. Stay healthy and get a few breaks and this could be a heck of a year. We need to change the turnover stat in our favor and give the O some shorter fields this year.

Something could have happened in the last 6 months.

Yes but we won't have any proof until the season starts, given what we've seen thus far it's way too premature to say Padron has mastered the R&S. That line would lead anyone who hasn't watched Padron play to believe that he was Colt Brennan or something.

Once he stops going to the sidelines to talk to Jones - maybe. I have yet to see the R&S offense click unless it was in Hawaii. Maybe it only works there

I'm going to put on some Hawaiian Tropic and sneak in some Coconut Rum to the ATM game......just in case.

It's been a while since CUSA made any noise in non-conference wins. I guess UCF's Liberty Bowl win was one the signature win last year. Need to step it up if we want any respect on a national level.

I truly believe that C-USA is the conference that we will be in for the forseeable future (10-15 years, at least). We desperately need to start making some noise not only as a school but as a conference and this year is a good opportunity. 3 or 4 teams, including us, have the chance to make some noise, and if teams who are both in the top 25 can start meeting on the playing field as conference opponents then we might be able to start creating some interest in our conference rivals.
Go C-USA!!

If you think our non-conference schedule looks difficult:
TULSA
Key nonconference games: At Oklahoma Sept. 3, Oklahoma State Sept. 17, At Boise State Sept. 24

Wow, I was not aware of Tulsa's nonconference schedule being that interesting.

I think I'd rather have the Hawaiian Tropic girls on board
