I think that would be a great idea. People don't take the channel too seriously right now (even the hockey diehards). Perhaps this will help.

They have slowly divorced themselves from Comcast and re-branded under the Peacock. Several hockey play-by-play announcers were taken off Versus last year to make it only the NBC crews. Good move for them. This also allows NBC to politely move occasional ND re-runs to Versus.

i love VS because im a huge cycling fan but i guess NBC sports wont be doing away w/ the Tour even w/ the re-branding, I saw this beginning in early July

As a roadie, I totally agree on cycling. My lost productivity in July was worse than my time on Ponyfans.
