You and Get Two season ticket campaign

I've volunteered, along with Bob Edmonson, to co-chair a grass roots season ticket contest and would love the help of all my PF.com friends. Here's how it works:

“YOU AND GET TWO”
This sales drive is a grass roots initiative to increase our overall season ticket sales base by 1,000 seats and attract more fans to Ford Stadium for 2011 and seasons to come!

Winning seasons are back!
Two consecutive bowl games – let’s get a hat trick!
The excitement is here!

How you can help:SMU Athletics needs a true “team effort” to achieve our goals. Our most important constituent is YOU, our fan!
The task is simple – become a season ticket holder yourself and then recruit at least two additional “new” referrals who will become SMU football season ticket holders themselves. You have completed half of the project if you already have season tickets!

How to participate:You refer the new season ticket holder by having them call 214-768-4263 or come in person to the Ticket Sales office at Ford Stadium. They must provide your name as their referral source to the ticket sales representative who helps them. This referral will be tracked and gain one (1) point for each season ticket purchased as a referral. We will track points and keep you informed as you gain points. Referral Points begin accumulating on Monday, August 8th.

Grand Prize DrawingA You and Get Two Mustangs prize drawing will be held at the conclusion of the season ticket sales cycle - Friday, Sept. 9th. To qualify for the prize drawing, you’ll need to have at least 4 points. A host of prizes will be given away via lottery system and your chances will be based on how many points you earned. If your point total is 9 you will have 9 tickets in the lottery drawing.

Prizes will be raffled off via a tiered lottery and include:

Four Points
 Authentic SMU Athletics gear

Five Points
 Authentic SMU Athletics gear
 Autographed football (June Jones) and basketballs (Matt Doherty and Rhonda Rompola)

Ten (10) Points
 Sideline passes for you and guest at an SMU home football game
 Men’s Basketball VIP Experience vs. Oklahoma State (American Airlines Center – December 28th)
 Men’s and women’s basketball season tickets

I cannot take credit for thinking of it---that goes to Tim McMurray and Terry Hemme---I'm just helping.

I'm hoping we can really make a difference. We have a great group of "sales people" in our fanbase so let's hit it out of the park on this one.
