As has been the case in the past, SMU practice is closed except to members of the media.

Well, what time is everyone going to show up? We need to clap loudly and get them fired up. We probably need to bring some coffee for the board master--kill joy!

I would guess he just reported what he was told. I remember them being closed in the past, too.

So Coach Reinebold says practices are open to the public and PonyPride says they are closed. This should be interesting...

We asked June tonight about Saturday's practice. Basically, he said most are closed, but some are open. He said on the first day we were all welcome--so come on out Saturday morning, bring your coffee and cheer the guys as the begin their fall practice. He did advise use that if we had maroon or purple shirts and brought a video camera we probably would not be welcome at any practice. He honestly didn't recall what the schedule was but that Saturday we were definately welcome.

I'm pulling up in my truck next week unloading my pop up, 10 chairs, lemonade, and setting up in the center of the practice field.

Is there any other time of the year or sport that is anticipated more than football....at any level. Beat the aggies and then they run the table, beat TCU and they run the table, we run the table....hello National championship game against Alabama! "So you are saying there is a chance"!
