The Texas A&M football team has higher expectations placed on it this season than seen in previous years. One of the main reasons why is a lineup littered with experience.
One of teams few losses, albeit a large one, was the departure of All-American linebacker Von Miller to the NFL. Michael Hodges is also gone due to graduation. The Aggies may have also lost this year's starting middle linebacker for an unspecified period of time. Kyle Mangan was arrested this weekend for disorderly conduct and may miss an unspecified period of time on the field as a result.
"Seems like some people have too much free time on their hands," Texas A&M coach Mike Sherman told Brent Zwerneman of the College Station Bureau. "That will be addressed shortly, as well as facing the consequences for this untimely and avoidable incident."
Although Mangan had 10 games of starting experience last season, he was still in a competition to start and this incident may have given the opportunity for others to take full advantage.
