I had assumed all along this was just a giant recruiting ploy so Mack could run around and tell all the recruits how much he wanted to broadcast their high school games on his network, but the big bad ncaa wouldn't let him. Apparently this was part of the contract they signed with espn though.

What's also funny is that the NCAA is going to have meetings with conferences regarding this. So maybe that rule wasn't as clear cut as the author of this thread suggested. If it's so clear, why are there meetings?
