That's kind of what I was wondering.
These things look really cool — kudos to wewiii and crew who made them — but if you can't see through the things, are they there to be viewed only when the stadium is empty? Presumably, when there are people in the stands who can see them, there will be people inside wanting to see out.
Forgive me if I'm missing something really obvious here....
They do look cool, though. I want those in my office!
The Stadium Club is currently renovating the facility. During the near decade that the club has been in use, the direct sun has faded the interior and has caused damage. It would be the same with your house if you had chosen not to use window coverings. Your furniture and carpet/hardwoods would fade and look odd over time.
They are doing some nice things in there and want them to last. Not to mention the cost of air conditioning. You could feel an immediate difference when the shades went in.
These solar shades are there to protect the interior for 98% of the time when it is not in use. They cut the heat and stop the damage.
You can see through the shades. However, you would not want to watch a game with them down.
They didn't buy the shades for the graphics feature.
The idea of using digital graphics to spell "SMU Mustangs" was just an easy add-on feature.
