Florida has shown that they are willing to let in FSU under the right conditions = no Bobby Bowden.
That, and the capacity to share. Notice that the Florida has many of the same advantages UT does- flagship school of a huge state with TONS of talent and TV sets - but other SEC fans don't automatically hate them (except Georgia). They agreed to a revenue sharing plan that means Vandy makes the same off the SEC as they do. The Sunshine Network (their LHN), as a result, is accepted and understood. Florida is a team player and will (most likely) agree to do what is best for the conference.
