Didn't realize until recently that they have 30,000 plus enrollment.

yay for them.
a) they haven't had any football anywhere near there
b) check back in a year from now...the novelty will have worn off.
How is Texas State doing with Fran? just curious..

haven't they expanded the stadium. I think they open with Tech in Lubbock and then Tech visits San Marcos for opening of expanded stadium in 2012. Its about to get competitive betwand Texas St., NTSU, UTSA. Its kinda of strange that all 3 have Coaches with significant success at the BCS level. I think I might be worried if I was UTEP.

If you do care about ticket sales, it makes a point-novelty or no-that a school like that just launching their team can move that number of tickets when a school like SMU, with back to back bowl games, an on-campus stadium in the middle of a metroplex with 8-10 million people, an excellent tailgate venue, and a legitimate, known BCS busting commodity of a head coach with a colorful personality and an exciting offense designed to play really kick a*s football hasn't moved 10,000 season tickets.
Please refrain from cutting and pasting all the reasons we can't fill our stadium that have been rehashed ad nausea. If their ticket sales plummet and we have a great year and things really, truly start picking up, I'm more than happy to take my soapbox and go sit in the corner and wear a dunce hat for a while.

It is kinda crowded here in the corner...the majority of have reserved seats and you may have to sit on the floor.
