All for naught. Train has left the station. It is good that we have a dew friends if SMU on the higher Ed committee in the legislature. The appropriations chair is also an SMU alum.

A$M will find they don't have a lot friends at the moment. Baylor boosters are going to say no, Tech Boosters are going to say no, and UT Boosters are going to say no. Houston boosters will say yes (it opens doors for them).

The Tuesday legislation meeting is the reason A&M moved their Regents meeting from the 22nd up to this Monday.
