If this happens and all other schools are dropped to D1AA what does SMU do? Would we really want to keep playing? Would we consider dropping football? Just wondering what the reaction would be by the university.

We were left out of the Super Conferences in 1996. What's changed really. I doubt too many people who lived through 1987-2008 really want to throw in the towel now
