With all due respect to BB, I want TCU to beat Baylor. (Hang on ... I just threw up when I wrote that ...)

What I meant is that I want Baylor to lose to Frog High (that's a little better), because I want TCU to be overconfident when we stroll into Fort Worthless, and maybe to be a little overconfident.

I hate both teams. No offense, BB ... very glad to have you on the board, but I'm still bitter about Grant Teaff calling for a pass on a fake punt in the final minute or two of a lopsided game against a team of freshmen and sophomores. Hope you beat the hell out of the Aggies and Orange Cows, though.

It's just that I'd rather see SMU beat an undefeated bunch of Tadpoles.

Thanks Cox.... and yea if we have to make the jump to CUSA then I would love to see the Bears play SMU in the new Ford Stadium and rekindle an old school swc rivalry, Had a blast several years go when I came up to SMU when we played ya'll. The grove type thing yall have going is really nice, "boulevarding" i believe you called it, and the campus was beautiful also had a good time with the fans. P.S. I think June has you boys headed in the right direction. Good luck again

Tell Phil Bennett thanks for all the hard work. I'm really sorry it didn't work out for him here.

Stallions all I have heard is good thinks about what he is doing for the defense.... give me some info on him when at SMU, why did it not work out? Not a good HC? or something else? I honestly dont know much about his previous time or the reason for being let go.

PB is a good Defensive Coordinator and will do well at Baylor. He will also be a great recruiter for Baylor....i wish we had him here to recruit Texas.

Bennett never had a chance at SMU because of the Admission Standards required to get a football recruit into SMU when he was the coach here. Under June Jones that has changed and as you can see SMU is showing improvement on the field. Bennett is known as a good DC, though he has been a part of a lot of coaching staffs that were fired for poor win/loss records. Still Bennett is a great guy and I wish him the best at Baylor.

He had a pretty good trick play on defense which might not fool anyone again as everyone has film on it......think it was called..."All In" or "All Out".

Bennett was a worthless coach on gameday...I've never seen a coach less prepared for gameday. Granted our talent wasn't great, but he had zero ability to extract the maximum from players.

I wish him the best, but I'm glad he's not here anymore.

Gotta ya..... the word around Baylor was that he was unsuccessful because of SMU's high academic requirements on students. Most of our fans said he could get the guys he wanted to pass the entrance requriements. Either way I hope he is prepared on game days for us or we are going to be in some serious trouble.

PB is a good man, a good DC, and a good coach. But, alas, he is an aggie. Enemy until week 2.

BB, thanks for dropping us from the schedule. Can't wait to stick it to you in 2012. Bust out the Wacko Waco signs...
