Actually, most of my buddies back in SEC country agree with him, even if they do it in a more civilized manner.
We don't recruit you, you recruit us
Somebody outta tell that hillbilly 'he' was already turned down. By the Big XII's sloppy-seconds, no less.

Thanks! Great to wakeup with a good laugh! "Sissy dogs, male cheerleaders dressed in 1950 Oil Change uniforms, Men aren't supposed to be cheerleaders, thats saved for women, just like marmilade and jam, if they score on a touchdown, what do they get when the other team scores?". all serious subjects to ponder!

If the SEC wanted access to Texas, every hand would raise, me, me, me, me. So, the SEC has the luxury of making A&M squirm a little bit. A&M has just peed on the shoes of the Longhorns and the rest of the Big XII, so they have zero bargaining power. If I were the SEC, I would not too subtly pick up the phone and call UT, SMU, Baylor, TCU, and UH, just to let the Aggies know there are other Texas options other than them. If the SEC came calling to SMU don't you think a Circle of Champions would happily stroke a check for any astronomical sum mentioned by the SEC? Then, they could go to the Aggies and say, here's the deal and SMU would benefit from having been considered in the conversation.

The Arkansas folks point out, and rightly so, that the SEC will now have extensive coverage on a daily basis in the Dallas and Houston papers and probably San Antonio also. Now they get game day stuff and maybe some other attention, but now there will be daily garbage, pushing SMU even deeper into the darkness.
