SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

grab a nail and a hammer. then take the picture, nail, and hammer to the post on which you want to post the picture. hold the picture and nail up to the post with your non-dominant hand, then strike the head of the nail with the head of the hammer to drive the nail into the post...viola...your picture is posted
